Dr Ajay Sharma is a paediatric gastroenterologist at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals. After completing paediatric specialty training through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Dr Sharma undertook further sub specialty training in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. He subsequently gained additional experience for a year in paediatric gastroenterology and liver transplantation at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. Dr Sharma is a member of North American Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and Australian Gastroenterology Society. He is accredited to perform paediatric endoscopy and colonoscopy.
